I need to wonder, however, if you are thinking that I&#39;m revering the Bible in exclusion of the Lord. I do know some do that, and I agree with you that that is an error. However, I also know that God gave us His word to reveal to us who He is, and He expects us to meet Him there (as well as through prayer, sermons, music, etc.). The Bible says that our hearts are deceitful above all else. My fear, if people are not grounded in the Word, is that they will feel something is true, attribute it to the Holy Spirit or to God, when in reality, it&#39;s either coming from their deceitful heart or worse, from the enemy himself. We don&#39;t worship the Bible - we use it to worship the Lord in spirit and in *truth*. Without the truth of God&#39;s Word, we leave ourselves open to the wrong spirits, I&#39;m afraid. If He didn&#39;t want us to use it, He wouldn&#39;t have gone to all the trouble to create it and protect it for all of those centuries. I hope I didn&#39;t misunderstand your point. Please correct me if I did.
